1936-D Columbia, South Carolina Silver Commemorative Half - Choice Uncirculated Pendant Marshall and Dwight DThis coin was struck, in part, to finance the numerous celebrations of the sesquicentennial of the founding of Columbia, South Carolina in 1786. The obverse features the well known allegorical of Justice with sword and scales while the reverse features the state emblem, Palmetto tree. This coin was struck at all three mints in 1936.
