Born Junmai Daiginjo Tokusen Chenin Blanc along with their sons GiulioProduced by Kato Kichibee Shoten in Fukui Prefecture a brewery whose sake was served at imperial ceremonies during the early Showa era Tokusen ("Special Selection") is Born's most celebrated expression. Crafted from Yamada Nishiki rice polished to just 38% of its original size and aged for two years at freezing temperatures, the result is extraordinary. A mature grapefruit aroma layered with floral and mineral tones leads to a silky, clean, quietly
